Introduction to IHOT
With our former Team Captains:
Asha, Nick, and David
About Us
The International House of Technology (IHOT) robotics team was founded at The Atlanta International School in 2004. Our mission is to promote STEAM learning through robotics, support the IB MYP and DP programs, and inspire high school students to pursue further study and careers in those fields. The team has competed in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) for the last twenty years. FIRST stands for: For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, founded by MIT's Woodie Flowers and Dean Kamen. To prepare for this competition, IHOT members work as a socially and culturally diverse team alongside professional mentors to find innovative solutions to complex problems using the robots.

Each year IHOT releases its clothing line available to the public. Our basic item includes a competition shirt. Each new member is required to purchase a minimum of 2 shirts in preparation for competition season.
For the 24-25 IHOT season, we will be featuring a special “Reef scape” shirt for our IHOT team.
